Slush and Puddles
It has warmed up quite a bit here today and that is causing all that snow we got over the weekend to turn into slush and puddles. Everything is a muddy mess including the dogs! UGH!! Hopefully the ground soaks it up quickly and we don’t get a lot of freezing temperatures overnight because that would make for some very dangerous icy conditions!
In other news I got everything together for our taxes yesterday in preparation for the appointment with the tax guy tomorrow. So not looking forward to that meeting at all! I just know that we are going to have to pay and that just doesn’t make sense to me as we don’t make enough but to just make ends meet. So not right!! But what do I know I’m not the government… LOL
Hoping to be able to get a few things at the grocery store in town while I am there to make Easter dinner for DH and I. I really am hoping that there are some decent sales tomorrow at the stores :) I would love to be able to have ham, oven baked sweet potato fries, asparagus, and maybe a salad. Even if it is just DH and I it would still be nice to have a small celebration considering how important of a day Easter is a rememberance of after all.

The tax appointment always makes me nervous. We came out incredibly good this year because of Maddie’s adoption…but even knowing that would happen, I was STILL a nervous wreck!
I’m thinking of Easter dinner too.

I hope your taxes come out okay. I don’t make much money, but I still have to do the estimated taxes because of being self-employed. I hate it.
Hope you find some good deals on food. I’m going out today and pick up a few things. Our grocery store is running a good sale on soda and a few other things. It’s my weekly trip to town. LOL
I hope the taxman visit goes better than you expect and you don’t owe too much. Just remember, owing some is better than getting back a lot. If you get a large refund, then that just means you gave the government a tax free loan!
