In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb?

Published by slcolman at 7:31 am under Huskies, Life in General Edit This

I thought that the saying for March weather wise was “In like a lion, out like a lamb.”  Well apparently that is not how it works here in the wilds of Wyoming.  In the last 10 days we have had more Winter Weather Advisories, Blizzard Warnings, and the like than we had all of Winter combined!!  Today it is COLD and WINDY and it has snowed some and could snow more.  I swear I am so ready for Winter to end that it isn’t even funny!  The poor dogs are ready for Winter to end too.  When we had that string of nice days that were above normal in temperature their bodies thought that was the clue to start blowing their winter coats… Poor Suzy is blowing hers the worst so far and she already hates the cold so now it is even worse for her :(

I am amazed at the weather you are having. Knock on wood, it has been fairly decent here. Rainy days, but no snow thank goodness! It is slowly warming up too.

I was going to point out that it’s in the 70’s, and while we’re having a bit of rain today, the sun will be back tomorrow. I was going to point that out, till I thought it sounded a little bit like gloating. I wouldn’t want to gloat. The grass is green, the trees are getting leaves, and flowers are abundant. I think I saw some wisteria starting to blossom. But I’m not gloating. ;-)

UGH! You and me both! And NO I don’t want you to burst my bubble. I’m happy in this little denial utopia I’m living in! :)

Sorry to hear about all the snow. It definitely gets old. We had a decent winter. We only had one big snowfall from what I can remember this year. The dogs love it when it is fresh snow, but once it freezes and gets slick, it’s not fun.
