Entrecard
Today.com has decided that they are going to ban the use of the Entrecard service by their bloggers due to the changes being implemented by Entrecard. They are providing a grace period for those of us that have ads pending to run on our blogs to leave them up to fulfill these obligations. However, this is why my status has changed to not accepting new ads on Entrecard and also why I have pretty much stopped dropping on other blogs.
I have met a lot of really great fellow bloggers through using Entrecard. I appreciate all the comments and dialog that we have enjoyed. I hope that we can continue to do so. If any of you would like to exchange links on a blogroll or what have you please let me know! I am currently working to add all of my consitant droppers and commenters to my bookmarks so that I can continue visiting your sites, but I could miss someone for whatever reason. So, if I stop visiting you for some reason come poke me so I can rectify the situation.
I still don’t know what I am going to do with all the Entrecard credits that I have built up. I keep hoping that I will find something wonderful to spend some of them on over in the Entrecard Marketplace!! In the end I will probably give the vast majority of them away…
I am really quite sad over the change in policy to ban Entrecard, but since I want to continue with Today.com presently I guess I have no choice in the matter.
It s a shame that Entrecard and Today.com can’t reach a compromise. I too, had no choice but depart from Entrecard for my post at Today.com. However, I still have other blogs at blogspot so I’ll be continuing to use Entrecard in my other blogs.
As you read on my blog, I am very blue over this. I’m having a hard time motivating myself right now. I know that I need to pick myself up though. Life is all about change…there is that picking myself up? LOL
I too am sad about the change and am scurrying trying to make contact, open a 2nd blog on EC to get things transferred to thats a non Today blog; but don’t know how it will all work out. I may later just stop it completely, but wanted to have more time think about it, thus the 2nd blog etc
Making a list, will be back in touch about exchanging links etc. If you’re up to speed on my life right now you know how much I’ve spent at the hospital and so trying to get things taken here is difficult.

I have a blogspot blog. I just don’t update it very often - It is about dairy free living. Maybe I should just start an EC account for it and move my credits there? But what is the point if that isn’t the blog I am trying to focus on building up?
I will try to get everyone up on my blogroll that has expressed interest in exchanging, but it might be a day or two (Read the post prior to this one about the internet being unhappy).

What a hot topic this has become!
I’ve committed to giving away my credits…which are a lot! Watch them change their minds at the last minute, which means I won’t have to delete my widget. I’ll have to start all over building my credits. Won’t that be just my luck!
Yes, this whole situation is frustrating and sad.
Since you have a blogger blog, maybe you could put the EC widget on it, but have a large link/button for people to come to this blog. That way you can keep your focus here, but still have something for EC.

At least through exchanges we can keep our Today blogs out there without the hefty fees for ads.

I too was upset to hear about the changes between today.com and entrecard. I just recently started with entrecard and now am not sure what I will do either. I do have another blog that I have added on entrecard but am not sure how to transfer credits from one to the other. I will add your blog to my blogroll and will visit from time to time.
