Finally Friday!

Published by slcolman under Life in General Edit This

Wow, I am so happy that today is Friday!!  Even though I don’t work right now and am only doing freelance writing stuff from home I still really enjoy the weekends.  I like that DH is home and we can just relax some - kind of take a step back from life and just breathe, especially DH since he is gone most of the day Monday through Friday for work and meetings and such.  But at the same time there is just so much that needs to get done…

The weather is supposed to be nice - Maybe we can go for a drive or something… That would be so nice for me to just get out of the house for a bit. DH probably wont want to though, but a girl can hope right!?  LOL  If not that maybe I can get him to help move things around and we can get the craft nook organized and set up.  It sure would be nice to have that area completed finally!  I think that DH could use it some too for his wood burning and leather burning work if we can get it set up right.  I can’t wait to have somewhere to do my scrapbooking, sewing, quilting, and other crafts without having to worry about leaving it out if I need to stop in the middle of something.  This craft nook has only been about 30 months in the making now!  DH started it while I was visiting my parents in November of 2006.  He hit some road blocks with doing the wiring for the lighting and just left it until last Christmas when finally his Dad and brother said it had to get finished and came over and helped him do it.  Now we just need to get the mismatched second hand desks set up in a way that works, get the bookcase and file cabinet for it out of the garage, and get everything put away for easy use.  I can’t wait!!  :)  But at the same time I know that DH works hard and long and that Saturdays really are the only day that he has to himself at all and I feel guilty in asking him to work on it…  Oh well, I know that eventually it will get done.  I just wish that it was something that I could do myself instead of being like almost everything else in my life right now where I have to ask for help.
