Facebook Killed The Internet!

DH stayed home from work on Monday due to being ill.  I was having just tons of pain and stayed in bed until about noon.  I am having trouble getting to sleep and then when I finally do it is so early in the morning that it basically time for DH to get up for work so sleeping until noon probably isn’t all the rest I need :(  But I digress.  I finally get up and get around to checking in on things.  Well, DH had been messing around on Facebook off and on all morning.  We tripped our FAP on the satellite Internet at about 3:30 pm.  Needless to say I got next to nothing done - No e-mail checked, no freelance work done, no posting to my blog, no commenting on other peoples blogs, no chceking in on SparkPeople, no nothing other than a little facebooking.  I did get my Entrecard drops done but that was because I was up between midnight and 4 am when our unlimited usage time is with the satellite Internet.  It is just so unfair!!  We pay more for satellite Internet than we ever did for DSL and it is slower and has the stupid FAP on it!!  I guess we are stuck though as the only other option is dial up and I don’t even want to think about those snail paced speeds.

I told DH that he is cut off on Facebooking and Entrecard dropping from home unless it is done during the free usage period.   On a typical day I do my drops during the free period, and then during the day I do Facebook some along with research for my freelance writing, e-mailing, and other stuff but I don’t trip the FAP!!

Two people Facebooking blows through 300MB very quickly!!!  So be careful if you are on an Internet plan where you pay for usage or get cut off when you reach your FAP like we do.  Needless to say I wont be able to do anything on-line tomorrow besides right now during the free period until after probably about 4:30 pm at the earliest.  So,  frustrating as I have freelance work I need to be doing!!
