From Huskies To Husbands

Warning this is an expression of my personal views and feelings.  Some people may find this controversial and disagree with me.  That is fine, everyone has their own point of view!!  Please feel free to tell me how you feel on this subject by leaving a comment.

Can you believe that Nadya Suleman has 14 children?  Yes, I know that the Duggar family has 18 children, but they are a married family and never did they use IVF or something similar to obtain those children, plus financially they seem to be doing it on their own without being a drain on society.  Nadya on the other hand has used IVF to get pregnant each and every time with this last time resulting in the birth of 8 babies at once.  She is not married and although she has used the same friend as a sperm donar she refuses to marry him even though some people claim that is what he wants.  She has been on disability compensation for about 10 years, and 3 of her first 6 children collect disabled social security although she has not said what those disabilities involve.  She gets assistance from the state in the form of food stamps and doesn’t have a job.  How then is she going to support these children?  She is a single Mother living with her parents.  I really do not understand!!

I do understand wanting a child or even children.  I want a child or children, but I want them if they are in God’s plan for my life.  I even understand why people go to such lengths as IVF to get pregnant, even though I do not think that will ever be a route that I personally would take.  For me I would rather spend the money that IVF would cost to work on adopting a child or children that so desperately need a loving family.
