From Huskies To Husbands

As most of you know, I live in Wyoming and it is January after all… So, where is all the snow??  It seems so surreal that here we are in the midst of winter and we basically have no snow on the ground.  This has been the craziest winter since I moved here in the Spring of 2003.  We have had -10 degree days and 40 degree days along with days at temperatures in between.  We have had more wind than usual.  So much wind that it tried to rip the siding off of the house with some success, at least in one section!!  I guess that is it, the combination of the wind blowing what little snow we have gotten into the next state and the unusually warm days that add up to not much snow.  I know I shouldn’t be worrying about the snow yet.  I know that it will probably come by the feet in March or April just when I am getting my hopes up that Spring is going to spring!  You would think that I would have learned by now that Wyoming doesn’t have all 4 seasons we just have 2 - Winter and Summer!
